Abstract and Bios
As awareness grows, there has been an increase in the numbers of children with problematic/harmful sexual behaviours on the case loads of social workers, education staff, CAMHs workers, specialist sexual behaviour services and even youth justice workers.
This webinar provides an overview from research and practice about children with problematic/harmful sexual behaviours and considers the difference in understanding and working with younger children under 7 years old and older children who are aged between 8 – 12 years old, who are at different stages of cognitive and sexual development. It will provide suggestions for work with children and their families.
